Required, because your customers' money has to land in your bank, not ours. Free to set up. Counter walks you through it on the onboarding call.

Your existing booking system

Optional. If you already use Calendly, Acuity, Square, Fresha or Mindbody, Counter routes through it. No migration needed.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. We take 2% on every booking the agent processes. Nothing else.

Do I need to set up a Twilio account, AWS, a database, or any other infrastructure?

No. Counter pays for and runs all of it. The only third-party account you need is Stripe, because the money your customers pay has to land in your bank, not ours. Stripe is free to set up.

Who pays for the phone number?

We do. Counter issues you a UK SMS number on our Twilio account when you go live, wires it up, and hands it back. The number sits on our bill, not yours.

Who pays for the AI?

We do. Every Claude call your agent makes runs on Counter's account. You will never see an Anthropic, OpenAI, or AI Gateway bill.

What if I want to cancel?

Cancel by cancelling. There's no contract, no notice period, no data hold. Your data is yours, and the SMS number can be released or ported.

How does the 2% fee work?

When your agent confirms a booking and takes payment, we take 2% of that transaction. The rest goes to you via Stripe, usually within two business days.
